District Council 35 is among the most aggressive and spirited labor organizations in North America. As proof of our commitment to organizing, diversity, and our obligation to recruit and train skilled manpower for our employers, our membership has grown approximately 20% annually in the past few years. We are proud of our work, and invite individuals and groups with similar interests to join us.

Our mission is to represent our members for purposes of collective bargaining, to organize workers in a variety of industries and occupations, and to advocate the interests of workers and their families.

DC 35 is an organization of approximately 4,000 members in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island. We are affiliated with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, AFL-CIO/CLC.

• Construction industry painters, wallcoverers, glaziers, drywall finishers, and abatement workers
• Residential painters, drywall finishers, and wallcoverers
• Glassworkers
• Sign painters and sign erectors
